JAC frame slicers
Bedika Oy imports frame slicers of the Belgian company JAC. The company is well-known in Europe as producer of dividing machines, slicers, proofing cabinets and automatic lines.
In Central Europe it is quite common to find in a grocery store a self-service slicer for the customer to slice the bread he/she bought. Now this is also coming to Finland.
Slicing bread with a self-service slicer is safe, easy and fast. The bread is placed in the slicer and the lid is closed. The bread is sliced and a compartment opens automatically for the customer to take the bread out of the slicer.
The slicer can be used for mixed bread and soft bread like baguette, which is quite difficult to slice by hand with a knife. Using a machine with blade oiling and Teflon coated blades it is also possible to slice rye bread.
